Aida Farahani graduated from George Mason University before earning her law degree from George Mason University (Scalia) School of Law. During law school, she interned in the private sector as well as the Executive Office of Immigration Review (DOJ) and Arlington Circuit Court. She has since devoted her career to immigration, helping thousands of immigrants from different nations obtain immigration status in the United States.
Aida Farahani started her legal career from working at private practice representing clients before immigration courts, Board of Appeals, and USCIS. In 2018, Aida joined the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) as Pro Bono Attorney Coordinator helping underserved families detained in immigration custody. She also served as resource attorney for her team.
Aida Farahani enjoys working with diverse clients and approaches each case with her breadth of expertise looking for the best possible solution to a client’s immigration challenges. Her cases have run a wide spectrum including asylum, cancellation of removal, family-based, employment-based, and naturalization cases.
Originally from Iran, Aida Farahani is fluent in Persian/Farsi. She is a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association and admitted to practice law in Virginia.
